CONSISTENCY & FOUNDATIONAL FITNESS

Rebuild a consistent training routine

Rebuild consistency and foundational fitness after time away from structured training. Strength, endurance, mobility, and recovery progress together so each week prepares you for the next.

Who this program is for

  • Returning after time away
  • Rebuilding consistency
  • Establishing foundational fitness
  • Preparing for more advanced programs

Progress begins with a single decision. Start conservatively, train consistently, and build from there.

Equipment and space

Dumbbells, barbell, bench, pull-up or pulldown station.

Review the exercises in P2S before your first session so you know which equipment and space each day needs. Built-in programs can be modified to suit your training preferences.

THE WEEKLY STRUCTURE

Know the plan before you start.

Two foundational strength sessions sit alongside a walk/run progression, capacity and mobility, and a confidence session. The eight-week path progresses strength, aerobic capacity and movement practice together. The aim is to establish a repeatable routine after time away from structured training.

  1. Day 01Rebuild Strength A
  2. Day 02Return to Endurance
  3. Day 03Rebuild Strength B
  4. Day 04Capacity & Mobility
  5. Day 05Confidence Session

Session lengths are approximate. Actual duration depends on rest periods, equipment setup, and the work you complete. Follow the day-by-day exercise targets and progression shown in the app.

RUN THE PLAN IN P2S

Make the work visible.

Start conservatively and review each day before you train. Record the session you actually completed, including reps, weights and endurance time. Use your saved history to see consistency build across the weeks before moving toward a more demanding training path.

P2S keeps exercises, working sets, repetitions, weights and training history together. Built-in timers support rest and timed work, while supported Apple Watch sessions keep useful tools close at hand. You can review completed sessions in your training history and statistics.

Back in the Fight is one of six built-in P2S training paths. The app also includes a custom program builder and standalone ruck tracking. No P2S account is required, and your training records stay on your device.
